Anita & Chris will be getting married next summer and I cannot wait to see what they have come up with for decor. Anita has such a great sense of style! I will give you a hint… “zebra print” We photographed their engagement session in Collingwood, Craigleith and the Blue Mountains. It turned out to be a great evening with lots of warm light. Anita & Chris had never been to some of the locations we went to and really enjoyed finding some great trails and places to walk Easton.
Their dog Easton! Was very excited to meet us and have his picture taken.
Hello all! We hope you have had a wonderful summer? Hopefully the wonderful weather will continue on into the fall.
We have a very large naturalized area very close to our studio. During the better weather months of the year we use it as our outdoor studio as much as possible. Here are some postcards from the past months we have shot at our outdoor studio.

Over the fall months we will continue to photograph outdoors. We find that it helps clients feel more comfortable and we get more variety from the different landscapes. Looking for family portraits we will have a fall special coming up just in time for Christmas cards and Christmas orders. Hope you are enjoying the last days of summer.
Caley and Matthew will be getting married this summer. They are currently living in Ottawa, with their families being from all over they decided Collingwood was the place to get married for them. We started their E-session just outside of Collingwood in the Blue mountains and then headed to Craigleith beach ending the session at the Collingwood docks. The light was really nice but left us really fast. Sometimes I wish you could just pause a moment so that you can full take it all in and then hit play again when you are ready. Caley & Matthew are a really sweet couple and I can see myself getting teary-eyed as they say their vows. I am sure I won’t be the only one.
You probably remember Stephanie & Rej engagement session out at Rej’s parents farm. If you don’t you can check it out here. Stephanie & Rej had a wonderful day. They were married in Lafontaine at the Catholic church. From there we went off to Little lake park in Midland with the reception being held at the North Simcoe Recreation Centre.
I just received Sam & Aaron’s guest book back from our book printers and I am so excited! It looks great and fits really well with their black and white theme. Don’t take my word for it here it is:
Just a quick note today to share with you Craig & Jennie’s guest book. They met us in Elmvale for their engagement session and then we headed to some great spots, ending the session at our beach. It was a very cold and windy day so we tried to stay out of the wind as much as possible. It was great to photograph with them both before their wedding day. On the day of the wedding they totally forgot about the camera and just did what they normally would do.
Samantha & Aaron’s big day is coming up in September. We had all decided that May would be a great month to photograph their engagement session, the weather had other idea’s. When we woke up in the Sunday morning of there session there was a fine layer of snow covering the ground. Yes, Snow in May! We drove around a lot to different locations in order to warm up and change up the scenery. In the middle of the session we stopped at Tim’s to warm up and chat, which was great to get to know Sam & Aaron better. They are using their engagement images for an signature book which I will preview here in a few weeks.
Just thinking back to that snowy day makes me cold!
Jamey & Gord Love their pup named Paxton. They had asked us if it was okay to bring her along to their engagement session and I was a little worried at first but there was really no need in worrying. She listened really well and loved to play stick. She is really just a younger version our our dog Thunder. I had forgotten how much energy a young lab can have. We had an amazing night for a session after already having to reschedule once due to rain. The weather could not have been better. No wind, very few bugs and a beautiful sunset.
We are both very excited to see what Jamey & Gord have planned for their wedding day. There wedding is going to be taking place at Vespra Hills Golf Course which will be a new venue for us. Apparently, it has some breath taking scenery.
I will heading out to Vespra Hills next week to have a tour. I hope that it will be a nice night to photograph, so I can share the view with you.
Don’t forget about our contest! Goes until July 18th.
