The snow is starting to get to me. Probably because this has been one winter where we have been sick a number of times with colds and flu. Also, we have had a lot of snow! Being so close to Georgian Bay, we often get lake effect snow which means that as long as the lake is not frozen we are getting snowed on. I do love the snow but being sick means to many indoor days for my liking. Are you ready for spring? I know I am. I was excited about being able to see the grass last week.
I am posting this session that I photographed last summer so we all can have a reminder of what the world looks like with out all the white stuff. I photographed this session in one of my favorite places in Wasaga Beach. It was a beautiful evening, we photographed at the golden hour for light.
I can’t wait for spring flowers and to get back outside on a regular basis.
The contest is open to anyone, yes anyone who has planned a wedding or gotten married. All you need to do is send out an email to us with a tip how you planned your day. Don’t forget to include you and your spouses name and when you were married. Piece of cake!
What helped?
What to avoid?
Great idea’s or planning tips?
Also, what was your best moment of the day?
We have decided to extend the date of contest closing for a few different reasons but number one was our brides & grooms who are still getting married this summer, who want to enter. The contest close date will now be the 29th of August. Just because it has been extended don’t delay in getting your entries in. It won’t be extended again.
Here’s one we have recieved from Barb Sherwood – “My best moment of the day was walking down the ailse with my new husband Mike. I was so happy in that moment, it felt like I was walking on a cloud. Planning tip: Hire a wedding planner for the day of to make sure everything goes smoothly. Best thing I did.”
Remember all for writing an email you could win a Married Portrait Session, a Trash the dress session or a Hundred dollar Gift Certificate!
Also, you will be helping so many future brides out there with your great advice.
Hey all, I know it’s been one day since my last blog post. You might be saying hey what’s going on? but I am catching up on many posts that I have wanted to share with you for awhile. Today’s post is Birth Announcements. I have had a few clients ask about them and would really love to see some samples. Well here are a few.
Want to know more about these please contact us at the studio or through email.
If you have never had the chance to come to our studio you wouldn’t know that we live about a block from Georgian Bay. Our beach makes the ideal background for photographing couples, dogs, kids and of course families. This summer we are offering beach portrait sessions on Wednesday and Thursday mornings & evenings. The great thing about this is because it is so close, we offer photographing there at the same rate as in the studio. $150.00 (plus hst) for session fees with studio packages starting at $300.00 (plus hst).
If it’s been awhile since you have had the family portrait done why not this summer at the beach? call the studio for more details or to book your date.
Fenton is way to cute when he smiles! He is a very quiet boy who takes his play seriously. While in the studio he wanted to play much more then have his picture taken. We played with everything from blankets to balls and even hockey sticks and when we had a moment in between he was enamored with the lights. Busy, busy!
We hope you are all out enjoying those great spring days!
We are excited to start a couple brand new programs at our studio. The first is watch me grow. Watch me grow is a year long program starting at birth and finishing at your child’s first birthday. During the year your child will be photographed at newborn, three months, six months and then one year. At the end of the first year you will receive one 11×14 collage with one image from each session. An add on to this program would be a maternity session for mom at an extra special price of $75.00 plus taxes.
The second program is called Mommy & me. It involves two sessions a maternity session for mom and a newborn session for baby. The program includes 25 custom birth announcements and a $50.00 enlargement credit.
Call the studio for more info or to book an appointment 705-361-3270.

Let us know what you think our our new Sweet Baby Album?
This is a flush mount layout with a canvas wrap cover. It should be ready in time to see & touch for the Wasaga Business show on March the 28th.
Marlene & Jim are two great people who are so in love with each other. I seriously think if you look up love in the dictionary there will be a picture of them. They were married this past summer on the beach looking out over Georgian Bay. Marlene was planning to as some people call it” Trash” her dress long before they even were married.
We had a few spectators at Allenwood beach wondering what we were doing, but it was loads of fun and best of all on a hot night ended with a swim for all of us. Enjoy!
