We are very excited to have this honor! Thanks so much to everyone who voted and all of our Amazing clients!! You can read more about what some of of our clients have to say here:
“I selected my wedding venue from one of the big Toronto wedding magazines. The photographers recommended to be came with a big city price and lacked a warm and friendly demeanor. We found Andy and Kate’s business at the cottage. They came down to the city and really captured the beauty of our day while making photo taking fun. They have a way to make clients feel relaxed and natural while laughing which translates to wonderful photos that do not look too posey. They like to try a few non traditional poses which really make your wedding album stand out from the rest. Several friends of mine got married the same summer as I did, and I was in several bridal parties, and all would agree that our engagement album and wedding photos stand out as the best. I would recommend them to any bride who wants to look the most beautiful on her special day.- Colette Danner”
Clients tend to ask us if we photograph or offer black and white and sepia tones? Yes, we do but we also offer other tones and variations that are different then the everyday. Instead of trying to explain them, we thought it best to show you the many different variations on the same colour image. This way you can get a glimpse of the editing side of things and how we choose what best suits the image. I tend to edit images by toning them to be more vintage lower contrast vibe which is something I love. Andrew tends to edit for a more clean crisp look with a slight tone of vintage. Every photographer is different in how they shoot and how they edit there images to look a certain way. We all have different processes that we use to develop our images, just like a painter or sculptor has different ways & tools they use to complete their art.

I just received Sam & Aaron’s guest book back from our book printers and I am so excited! It looks great and fits really well with their black and white theme. Don’t take my word for it here it is:
Just a quick note today to share with you Craig & Jennie’s guest book. They met us in Elmvale for their engagement session and then we headed to some great spots, ending the session at our beach. It was a very cold and windy day so we tried to stay out of the wind as much as possible. It was great to photograph with them both before their wedding day. On the day of the wedding they totally forgot about the camera and just did what they normally would do.
Jamey & Gord were married this past weekend. It was a wonderful day that I will share more with you later. What I would like to share is there signature book.
For Signature books we like to incorporate clients wedding colours, digital art and words or quotes that mean a lot to them.
Christine & Edward will be getting married this September in Collingwood. We photographed their engagement session this past fall and have not shared it with you all yet. It was a wonderful sunny day but with a very cold wind. We were lucky to find this abandoned field on the way out of Collingwood, it was nice and warm and out of the wind.
The cover image is one of my favorites. I really love how it is all about them in a field of gold. Andrew shot this using our trusty red ladder. People laugh at us when they see our ladder strapped to the roof of the Subaru but, it is a great extra to have on shoots.
More signature E-albums to come!
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter.
Kate & Andrew
Let us know what you think our our new Sweet Baby Album?
This is a flush mount layout with a canvas wrap cover. It should be ready in time to see & touch for the Wasaga Business show on March the 28th.
I had fun putting together Mark & Colette’s Engagement Album. The engagement session took place right here in Woodland beach and was fun and whimsical. I really wanted the layout to be the same. I used a few textures and background to come up with this. Let us know what you think?
