Baby C is our newest neighbour! Our kids are so excited to have a new baby so close by. They are always asking if they can go visit him, which they do if he’s outside.

Baby C in the studio was very easy to work with, having just woken up and finished eating. Babies are easiest to photograph if their bellies are full and they have had their regular naps. We also keep the studio quite toasty which doesn’t always make it comfortable for mom and dad but makes baby nice and cozy.   Most of our newborn sessions are done in the studio, however we shoot regularly on-location.  Theses sessions take place from birth until around one month. During this time babies change and grow so much, from their first days of looking swollen and sleepy to seeing their features emerge and becoming more awake.

Baby C’s Daddy likes to skateboard so he brought his long board to the session.

Congrats to Tim & Brit!

Have a wonderful long weekend everyone. We will be off the grid for the weekend and will get back to any messages on Monday.

Cheers,

Kate & Andrew

It’s not what all of you might have guessed but Andrew surprised me last weekend with our new summer home.  As you can see it fits in our kitchen, so there’s no reason to be jealous as you too can have a new summer home.  When Andrew and I first met we each had our own tents, both were two/three man set-ups (although my tent has seen four adults sleeping in it on at least one very cold canoe trip, but that’s another story). With the addition of Madisen and Quinn and our biggest baby Thunder we needed to expand. This year however we decided to move on to a bigger more comfortable tent and we hope to spend many nights in it this summer.

This summer we will be traveling all over Ontario to photograph weddings and our new summer home will be coming with us.

We are super lucky that our two wonderful kids love the adventure of camping and in a week or two we will try out our new home for a weekend get away before Weddings season starts full swing. I am sure we will all be warm, comfortable and the best part have enough space.

Have a tent, will travel.

Cheers,

Kate & Andrew
