Save the dates can be lots of fun and are a great idea to get everyone excited about your wedding.  Many wedding planners say that they are essential in the following situations: if a lot of your guests will be traveling to your wedding, your wedding takes place on or around a holiday, you are planning a destination wedding, or your wedding will take place in a seasonally busy or tourist locale, where the flights and hotels perhaps book up early.

Many Bride & Grooms, especially those with a lot of guests from out-of-town, find it useful to also include:

• The URL to their wedding website
• Hotel information or Location information
• Any special information that guests may need to consider in advance
